On behalf of the Verdisian Government, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 2025 has been an intensely positive, and successful year for our country. We received more media coverage than ever before, reaching news outlets all over the world, and gaining a significant amount of attention on social media, which has helped with public awareness about our country and development.
As always, we have continued to pressure Croatia to respect Verdis’ territorial integrity and respect international law. Croatia continues to illegally blockade Verdis, but even with the blockade, Verdis has still continued to thrive. In the past few months alone, we had tens of thousands of Euro’s raised in crowdfunding, thousands more e-Resident’s, opened a new office in the United Kingdom, and this month we are about to formally open another Representative Office in Novi Sad, Serbia, taking us into 2026 full speed ahead, helping us to strengthen relations with our neighbours, and the rest of the international community.
I also want to reiterate that we still want to have positive relations with Croatia, once Croatia respects Verdis’ territorial integrity and international law. We look forward to having a constructive dialogue with Croatia in the near future.
Here’s to 2026, another year of prosperity and progress for the Free Republic of Verdis. 2025 has been one of Verdis’ most progressive years yet, and we have no doubt this will continue throughout the many years to come!
