On Tuesday, President Jackson spoke as a guest speaker at the European Youth Forum in Neumarkt, Austria. His speech particularly focused on Verdis’ road to building international relations and becoming more involved in the global community. President Jackson spoke about the country’s diplomatic initiatives, including Verdis’ engagement with international organisations, foreign governments, and humanitarian projects. He also spoke about Verdis’ commitment to neutrality, regional cooperation, and building a constructive dialogue with Croatia and Serbia.
President Jackson also emphasised on the importance of youth involvement in politics and diplomacy, and that young people need a voice in a rapidly changing, and increasingly interconnected world.
A discussion panel was also held afterwards, where attendees had the opportunity to discuss Verdis’ future on the international stage with President Jackson.
