On the 9th of October 2026, President Jackson was accompanied by other Verdisian officials to receive an award at the Delegates Dining Room of the United Nations headquarters in New York City.
During the ceremony, President Jackson delivered a speech talking about the importance of humanitarian aid and diplomatic outreach, emphasising that Verdis remains committed to making a positive impact internationally, even while the country continues to make efforts to build international recognition.
The award was given by the NGO IPPDR, recognising the efforts that Verdis has made over the past few months towards ramping up humanitarian initiatives
The ceremony marked another milestone in Verdis’ growing efforts in international engagement, showing the country’s commitment to humanitarianism, neutrality and building constructive relationships with organisations, sovereign states and communities around the world.
